All the abstract paintings shown in this web site were hand made using multiple layers of plexiglass and several types of glass paint. The combined layers create a dynamic stained glass window. The individual plates can be rotated or moved in the stacking sequence to provide many views of the same model. The resulting 3D painting/sculpture changes with the current light and provides an infinite number of variations.

The paintings are always back lit by clear bright sunlight. All the color mixing is done by the Sun when the photograph is taken.
No computer editing was done on any of the photographs, they are SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera).

The paintings are made to feature natural forms and shapes with vivid colors. Each painting includes dozens of color tones in shapes that allow the light to cross from one layer to the next. The natural shapes allow the components to merge into a continuous composition which resembles a landscape. The texture in the paintings is found in real nature.

A different world within ours. A world that surrounds us, but that we don't see.

Prints of these paintings are available in aluminum tile murals which bring out the details and unique color tones. In sizes up to 3.5x5 feet and with a simple installation.
